Whether you're naming a baby, or just all about names, you've come to the right place! Appellation Mountain is a haven for lovers of obscure gems and enduring classics alike.
What a great idea! My pick- Paikea, because Maori names are woefully underrepresented. Or maybe Myckynleigh, just for fun.

What a neat idea! I’m game with the family name: Pamela. I know it’s not on everyone’s list, but what a honey sweet name!

This could be fun! I’m in a “B” name kick lately, so I’d suggest Brian and Bonnie.

I would love your take on Radegonde and Disciole 🙂

What a cool idea! I’ll play with five pretty common Finnish names that appear in the Finnish nameday calendar and, I think, have the potential for being discovered in the English-speaking world as well: Elina, Aili, Kaisa, Janne, Miko.

Awesome contest! Maybe the suggestion I’d emailed to you: the K names of the 60s (Kurt, Kevin, Kyle, Kirk, Kent). Maybe the names in my own favorites list: Caroline, Natalie, Louisa, Suzanne, Zoe. For boys: Grady, Andrew, William (hate Liam but love Will), Peter.
If I have to suggest just one for your consideration, I’ll go with Miller. It’s a surname in my family tree, but not an occupation name that I’ve heard in use.

I like this take-over idea. Glynis has always caught my fancy.

Hmmm…maybe Timmerie, a name on a random girl I met at VBS years ago. Or, Paul after family members. Or, Paulette, Brynna, or Carly? It would be really fun!
