Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves welcomed their son Levi Alves McConaughey on Monday, July 7. In a statement, the new dad said that everyone is “tired and elated” and very happy.
By happy coincidence, Levi is our Name of the Day for tomorrow so check back for more in the morning.

Yes, I heard speculation that the baby would be named something like Miller Lyte – apparently the name of his nephew.

Levi Alves McConaughey, very nice job! Especially considering his family, I was a bit worried it would be something bizarre! Levi is awesome, and Mom’s maiden name in the middle is a nice touch. Overall, Kudoes to them and a huge Congratulations! Wonderful job! 🙂
