Shoot, I just checked and Bruno was a NOTD in 2008, so I’ll pick — Truman.

My vote is for Alfred, I don’t know why, but I really love the name. I would probably also include Cedric, since that’s one of Mark’s favourite names and one of the few that we can both agree on liking.
I remember looking at it when I was pregnant with Oliver – it was on my shortish list.

I’d like to talk about a name like Susan, which would actually be quite unusual for a girl these days despite soundling boring to many adults. Maybe also another name whose gender usage is being contested or one that I think would be nice for a boy again after being mostly usurped by the girls.

Ooo… Sounds fun. One name I might chose would be Valkyrie. When my husband and I talk about names he has only put in 2 suggestions.. Valkyrie is one of them.. could be a fun one to learn more about

I’ll put in my choices. How about if I win, maybe I’d suggest something like Cornelia or Carmela or Carmen…or maybe not a C name; maybe something like Danielle or Denise or Dinah…or maybe a boy name like Basil or Frasier or Rock…the possiblities are endless.
Um, would you please add Rock, Danielle, and Frasier to your BNotD list anyway?

Well, I just checked and I can’t believe you’ve already posted about Liesel and I didn’t know! I’d have to go back through my name notebooks to be sure but one of my choices would be a family name that I’m still trying to get my husband to like: Talmadge. Very fun idea!

Oooh, this would be a cool birthday present! 😉
I would be selfish and ask about my name: Katherine Elizabeth, maybe see what you can do with my maiden name, Calder, and then toss in a couple of names I like but you haven’t done yet.

Happy birthday, Kayt!
