Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh has welcomed a son. I was dimly aware that she’d named her firstborn Joseph Michael, and had noticed her on the list of upcoming celeb births.
But her first son was named Joseph.

How did you and Casey choose the name Sundance Thomas for your new arrival?
“Well, the first six months of my pregnancy he was going to be named Kelly
I would have gone with Redford instead of Sundance. Wonder if they’ll call him Sunny or Sonny?
A rather gutsy choice !
I immediately thought Sundance was girl. Not a good sign. Any name with Sun in it automatically makes me think “female.” I must admit, I do like it as a GP. But I do think its a very bizarre pairing with Joseph Michael.
I triple-checked to make sure Sundance wasn’t a daughter, too!
