Here come the girls! Frances, Coco, Emmeline, Oona, Carys, Mireille, Pomeline, and Boheme all fell in the first round. A few of those surprised me, but when you look at the ones that made it through, it is slightly less surprising.

I wish Eugenie would win from this round, but I can see that won’t happen.
I agree, Amy3! Since Louisa and Nathaniel won last year, I think that the winners will always tend towards the center. It is funny, though, because name searches tend to go to extremes, and lots of unusual names are among the top searched.
