Oh. I also meant to comment on New Orleans street names. They are a great naming source. I made a list of names I loved out of the NO street directory when I was looking for inspiration.
My goodness, thanks for the traffic boost! And also for the kind comments, I’m so glad you like the name. My husband forced me to help him pick a name before she was discharged, I was still in ICU hopped up on meds, so we’re lucky her birth certificate doesn’t say “Rose Sparkles,” which is what my older girls were lobbying for.
I can’t wait to see this new Collin Ferrel movie. I loved the book. Your children look so darling!
Your kids are adorable, Verity!
Thanks for the mention verity!
What a cute costume!
I went to New Orleans for the very first time today — how’s that for irony? I don’t remember seeing any streets named for Muses, but it was hard to miss all those streets named for saints.
There’s MUCH to love about NO, Rachel! I first went there on a Greyhound bus when I was 19 and had read too much Anne Rice. Actually, I always meant to live there – maybe someday.
Hi Verity! How cool to see you mentioning the New Orleans muse street names
I love reading all your posts, and though I’ve never commented on here before, I just had to say that your children are very very cute! The little ladybug costume had me grinning from ear to ear! I think seeing all the little kids in their costumes is the best part about Halloween.
Thanks – how nice of you to de-lurk to say something so nice. 🙂
