Sunday Summary: 11.4.18Happy Sunday! As you read this, I’ll be waking up in the woods.

Things I never anticipated when I first held my newborn daughter: she’d grow up to truly love camping. My husband shares her enthusiasm, so they’ve been before. But me? Never. Not a once.

But this weekend I’m off to a state park with her scout troop. Wish me luck! I’ll be back to all things onomastic – and running water and reliable wifi – soon! And who knows? Maybe I’ll come back with a post about fall-inspired nature names.

In the meantime:

That’s all for this week! As always, thank you for reading – and have a great week!

  1. I actually really like Harlan(d) for a boy or a girl! I hadn’t thought about it much until the KFC contest was announced, but I think it’s on-trend and cute.

  2. The I have a cousin Harlan, a boy, but I can see it for a girl, too. Banks is very Mary Poppins to me, very surname !! Be interesting to know what her parents call her on a daily basis!!
