Spring Song Showdown SemiFinalsThe votes are in!

We’ve narrowed our list from sixteen great girl names from pop song titles to eight. And now, just four remain.

Let’s look back on the last round.

  • Lucy dominated again, sweeping past Rhiannon with just over 65% of the vote.
  • This one surprised me! In a close contest, Mary managed to pull out a win, with 54% of the vote tally. She left Gloria in the dust.
  • No question about this one: Iris commanded nearly 71% of the vote total in a match-up against Maggie.
  • And Caroline turned in a respectable performance against Cecilia, with 54% of the total.

THE SEMIFINALS

With just four names remaining, the choice about which ones advance to the final? Well, that’s up to you.

Remember, you can vote by the song you like better or the name you prefer. Or maybe some combination of both? They’re pretty tough contests, so anything that helps you choose will work!

LUCY V CAROLINE

Two classic names, both with a sweetly vintage vibe and winning, sing-along songs, face off.

MARY V IRIS

The enduring Mary versus the botanical Iris.

Voting remains open until Friday, April 24th. Check back on Saturday to see which names advance – and, of course, to vote for your favorite in the final match!
