Oh. I also meant to comment on New Orleans street names. They are a great naming source. I made a list of names I loved out of the NO street directory when I was looking for inspiration.

My goodness, thanks for the traffic boost! And also for the kind comments, I’m so glad you like the name. My husband forced me to help him pick a name before she was discharged, I was still in ICU hopped up on meds, so we’re lucky her birth certificate doesn’t say “Rose Sparkles,” which is what my older girls were lobbying for.

I went to New Orleans for the very first time today — how’s that for irony? I don’t remember seeing any streets named for Muses, but it was hard to miss all those streets named for saints.

Hi Verity! How cool to see you mentioning the New Orleans muse street names—I’m from NO and lived near that area (the Garden District). The city has plenty of cool street names—Constantinople and Tchopitoulas are a couple of my favorites (besides the muse names, of course—always loved those).
