Even though she knows a lot of Lisa&#039;s now (older co-workers and such), she didn&#039;t grow up with too many.  Plus, it&#039;s a simple, pretty sort of name, with its soft consonant sounds and feminine A-ending.

While I wouldn&#039;t use it myself, I think it could still be attractive on a little girl.  It is funny, though, how when comparing two very similar-sounding names, one can sound stylish and one dated.  Clara?  Stylish.  Carla?  Dated.  Lina, Lila, Lola, or Lara?  Stylish.  Lisa, Laura, or Linda?  Dated.]]></description>
