I really , really love Honour. I'd use it in a heartbeat and I actually liked it before they used it. It means something positive and when you say it, you profess something positive. I like the full sound of the name and call me craxy, even 'Ons' as a nickname I like.I think it'd age well & is quite classy sounding . I also agree that Honour is better than Grace, which is quite overrated in my book. I don't liek Honora/Honora, Eleanor or those names, ironically.

Annora's my favorite version, follwed by Honoria (First assocation? Charles Emerson Winchester's proper Bostonian sister in M*A*S*H*) Honor is pretty but seems rather flat and blunt to me. Nothing wrong with it, and I find it an admirable virtue. Honor beats Grace in my book. I was pleasantly surprised by Jessica Alba's choice for her daughter and wouldn't mind the slightest bit if it got popular, Honor's better than a handful of names in the top 20. My biggest drawback with Honor? If I'm not careful, Honor becomes Homer/Homor very easily when I type. :D Not that that's the reason I wouldn't use it, I've mentioned my thoughts on virtue named kids before. Makes me very wary of them all...

I’m quite fond of Honora, too - especially as it gets you to the nickname Nora without having to use Eleanor. (Which is okay, but not *quite* my cup of tea.)

Still, betcha Honor breaks into the US Top 1000 next year. ;)

I'm not such a big fan of Honor/Honour; it's the same as Liberty for me. They do have nice meanings, but I'm just not a fan of names like these. I do, however, adore Annora and Honora.
