I’m not even completely sure why! I think it is partly because I would love to call a little girl of mine Dilly and sing “Lavender’s Blue” to her softly as she falls asleep! In reference to this article, I love many of the names but Drusilla did make me chuckle, simply because my nearest tourist attraction is Drusilla’s Zoo and I cannot get past that association!

Daphne and Dahlia are my favorites, but if I had to do matching letter names for my kids, I’d have Dexter, Dean, Declan, Deacon, Donovan, Dominic, Danica, Devorah, Dana, and now Delancey (thanks for that awesome one!)
